Psychological Associate

Spanish Speaking

Dr. Ivonne Goetsch is a bilingual (English/Spanish) doctoral-level clinician with a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology and experience serving children, adolescents, adults, and families across educational, behavioral health, hospital, residential, and community settings. Her background includes crisis behavioral health services, adolescent residential treatment, developmental and special education settings, and multidisciplinary collaboration with individuals experiencing trauma, mood disorders, severe mental illness, developmental differences, and complex behavioral and emotional presentations.

Dr. Goetsch brings a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and developmentally informed perspective to her work and values understanding each person within the broader context of their experiences, relationships, culture, strengths, and environment.

Her clinical interests include mindfulness-based interventions, somatic therapies, hypnosis-informed approaches, EMDR, CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), solution-focused interventions, and existential perspectives in treatment. Dr. Goetsch is especially interested in developmentally appropriate interventions and believes meaningful change often begins with emotional safety, connection, regulation, and individualized support before growth and learning can fully occur.

She values flexibility in treatment and recognizes that no single approach fits every person. Her clinical perspective integrates both top-down and bottom-up approaches while considering developmental factors, nervous system regulation, family systems, and the unique needs of each individual.

My Story

Outside of my professional work, I enjoys traveling, discovering new places and cultures, hiking, spending time at the beach, practicing meditation and yoga, and sharing quality time with family, friends, and my dogs. A lifelong learner, I also enjoys audiobooks, exploring new ideas and perspectives, and engaging in meaningful conversations. I especially appreciates nature, creativity, and experiences that foster connection, personal growth, wellness, and balance.
