About the Role

We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with Child/Adolescent specialization to join our outpatient clinic. The provider will deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management, and collaborative care in coordination with therapists, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and transitional-age youth.

  • Provide medication management and monitoring, including collaboration with families on treatment decisions.

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (therapists, psychologists, intake coordinators, primary care providers).

  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in our EHR (Ritten).

  • Participate in case consultation, team meetings, and care coordination.

  • Collaborate with schools, primary care, and community resources as appropriate.


Qualifications

  • Licensed Physician (MD/DO) in Psychiatry with board certification/eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry OR Licensed PMHNP with Child/Adolescent focus in California.

  • DEA registration and CURES enrollment (required).

  • Experience in outpatient child/adolescent psychiatry strongly preferred.

  • Commitment to culturally responsive, family-centered, and evidence-based care.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse clinical team.
