Job Title: Associate Clinical Therapist (AMFT, ASW, APCC, Associate Psychologist) Organization: OpenMinds Mental Health Services Location: Santa Barbara, CA (In-person or Hybrid) Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Hourly) Compensation: $50-60/hour (depending on license) Are you a passionate Associate Therapist or Associate Psychologist dedicated to making a positive impact in a collaborative work environment? If so, you've come to the right place!  Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Associate Clinical Therapist (AMFT, ASW, APCC, or Associate Psychologist) to join our dynamic team. As a therapist at OpenMinds, you will specialize in providing individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents and young adults, employing a client-centered and outcomes-driven approach. Your responsibilities will include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team and receive supervision from a licensed psychologist. Essential Functions Include: • Providing evidence-based individual therapy to address various mental health concerns among adolescents and young adults. • Conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine client needs. • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments. • Collaborating with families, caregivers, and relevant providers to support overall client well-being. • Participating in agency meetings, training sessions, consultations, and supervision meetings. • Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards. • Accurately inputting relevant CPT codes for insurance billing. • Contributing to the development and enhancement of therapeutic programs and interventions. • Staying updated with best practices and advancements in the mental health field. Requirements and Qualifications: • Doctoral or Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field. • Registration with the Board of Psychology (BOP) or Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), depending on licensure/degree. • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions. • Experience in individual therapy with adolescents and young adults (experience with group and family therapy is a plus). • Bilingual and bicultural skills are a plus • Experience with LGBTQ+ populations is a plus • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic. • Ability to see a minimum of 21 clients per week. Anthem, Blue Shield, Cigna, etc) with our support • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions. • Experience in individual therapy with adolescents and young adults (experience with group and family therapy is a plus). • Bilingual and bicultural skills are a plus. • Experience with LGBTQ+ populations is a plus. • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic. • Ability to see a minimum of 21 clients per week.
